WE ARE PLEASED TO OFFER AN OUTSTANDING PIECE OF HISTORY. Ancient Holy Land, Early Bronze Age, circa 2500 B.
A charming jar with a self standing small flat base, globular shaped body which reduces to a pinched neck and flared mouth. These jugs were use in antiquity as a daily item to hold water, oil or wine. Jar shows burnish marks all around body. A very nice conversation piece.
